It has more vanadium and less chromium than 440C so it is slightly tougher, but also a little less rust resistant. We think this is a fine steel for a knife that can produce a great edge and have a great combination of toughness and easy to sharpen.Handle Material - G10This extremely durable handle is made of layers of fiberglass soaked in resin. Great water proof qualities and tough wear resistance allow this to be one of the most common handles used in knife handles. It is also easy to shape and color allowing for great customization.
