It needs to be reversed regularly to facilitate the discharge of chips from the chip removal hole. When tapping, add appropriate lubricating oil to the cutting edge of the die.Make sure the workpiece is securely clamped or fixed in place to prevent movement during threading. Apply consistent downward pressure as you turn the metric die clockwise to ensure alignment is maintained and to avoid tilting. After tapping is complete, clean the workpiece and remove any metal shavings or debris.
