- Smaller pin diameters reduce the distance between them
- Air pressure on the 'open' connector mechanically releases the 3 locking balls
- Locking balls move inward, allowing quick part replacement
- Air is released from the 'open' connector and directed to the clamping cylinder for tightening
- Locking balls move outward, securing the new part
- Maintain air connection for optimal clamping force
